ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — Tickets are now on sale for Garrison Keillor’s fall performances of “A Prairie Home Companion” in St. Paul.
Keillor kicks off the 38th season of his popular public radio show on Saturday, Sept. 17, at the downtown Fitzgerald Theater. The season-opening broadcast will be followed by the annual Prairie Home Street Dance and meatloaf supper on Exchange Street, in front of the theater.
Five more live “Prairie Home” broadcasts will be held at the Fitz this fall: Sept. 24, Oct. 1, 8, 15 and 22.
Tickets are available through Ticketmaster outlets or online, or in person at the Fitzgerald box office.
“A Prairie Home Companion” is heard on nearly 600 public radio stations across the U.S., with a weekly audience of more than 4.3 million listeners.
