New Jersey Man Killed In Head-On Crash In SE Minn.

MAZEPPA, Minn. (WCCO) — A New Jersey man is dead after a head-on crash in Wabasha County.

The accident happened just after 10 p.m. Saturday on Highway 60 just east of Mazeppa. A vehicle traveling westbound on Highway 60 crossed the center line into the eastbound land and hit another vehicle head on.

The driver of the vehicle that crossed the center line, 48-year-old Scott Witte of Riverton, New Jersey, was killed in the crash.

The driver and passenger of the car that was hit, a 22-year-old man from Inver Grove Heights and a 22-year-old woman from Farmington, both sustained non-life threatening injuries.
