Several Fire Dept. Called For Wayzata House Fire

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Firefighters from several departments are battling a house fire in Wayzata, Minn.

Crews were called to the home in the 700 block of Wayzata Boulevard East before 6 a.m. Friday.

A fire started on the east side of the home near a gas fireplace, according to crews, and then spread up to the attic on the second floor.

It took crews about an hour and a half to contain the fire.

No one was home at the time, and no firefighters were injured battling the flames.
