Liriano To 15-Day Disabled List With Left Shoulder Strain

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — The Minnesota Twins have placed left-handed pitcher Francisco Liriano on the 15-day disabled list with a left posterior shoulder strain.

Liriano suffered the injury in the Twins’ 6-1 loss to the Baltimore Orioles Thursday.

The Twins will recall left-handed pitcher Scott Diamond from Triple-A Rochester to replace Liriano on the 25-man roster.

  1. Is it over yet says:

Maybe the entire team should be put on the disabled list. They certainly are disabled.

  2. Me says:

Can we leave Liriano on the DL?

  3. Gloria says:

Let’s get rid of Francisco instead of Kubel. (Maybe nobody wants him.) He has always been inconsistent, after his first season with us, but it’s getting ridiculous, and he, like many others, cannot stay healthy.
