2 Stabbed In Minneapolis, Man Dies, Woman Arrested

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Police are investigating after a man and woman were allegedly stabbed overnight.

Officers were dispatched around 2:40 a.m. Sunday to a home on the 2300 block of Girard Avenue North on a stabbing call. Upon arrival, they found a man and woman bleeding from apparent stab wounds.

Both were transported to North Memorial Hospital, where the man later died. His identity and the exact cause of death will be released by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner's office.

The woman was treated for non-life threatening injuries and taken into custody. Police say it appears to be a domestic dispute.

The case is being investigated by the Minneapolis Police Department's homicide unit.
