MADISON, Wis. (AP) – A 15-year-old boy is dead after rock climbing in Adams County.

The county sheriff’s department says the Nekoosa area teen fell Tuesday while climbing a bluff in Roche-A-Cri State Park in the town of Preston.

The department says another juvenile was unable to climb down from a rock ledge and had to be rescued.

The Capitol Times reports they were with three other juveniles from the Nekoosa area.

The victim’s name hasn’t been released, and the incident remains under investigation.
