ST. PAUL (WCCO) — Police have located the driver and vehicle that struck an elderly bicyclist Thursday morning on Calhoun Parkway in Minneapolis.

According to Minneapolis Park Police, the investigation revealed that the driver stopped before leaving the scene, so no hit-and-run charge is pending.

The 74-year-old man was released from the hospital Thursday and is recovering from minor injuries from home.

    Oh look at that, someone who stopped when they hit someone…are you paying attention AMY SENSER? the driver who hit and KILLED the pedestrian in Richfield last week stopped too.

    Well isn’t this a nice turn of events for the “fire ready aim” lynch mob. Bet no one directly mentions that they’re glad the “old man” is doing ok.

    Boy did this driver get a lucky break! We call that leaving the scene of an accident which is a chargable offence. Im thankful the victim is doing well. Have a speedie recovery.
