MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Police in northern Minnesota need help finding a man who is accused of stealing more than 250 cell phones from an AT&T store.

Cloquet Police say a man cut through sheet rock and cut the surveillance system wiring around 2:20 a.m. last Monday morning at the AT&T located on 1498 S. Highway 33 in Cloquet.

He then went through the ceiling and got into a room where the phones were stored. Police say he stole 254 phones valued at more than $70,000.

Police say the stolen phones were a mix of iPhone3, iPhone4, various Samsung smart phone models and a selection of cell phone accessories.

A silver minivan was seen in the area at the time.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call Det. Holman, Det. Randall or Det. Berg at (218)-879-1247 at the Cloquet Police Department.
