RIVERTON, Minn. (WCCO) – Authorities have announced the identity of the 57-year-old man they believe was shot and killed by a 15-year-old boy.
The Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Office said they responded to a report of a shooting in Riverton, Minn. on Thursday evening.
Crosby Police officers said when they investigated, they found the body of a man who suffered a gunshot wound.
The Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Office identified the victim as Stanley Byron King, of Riverton.
Officers have taken a 15-year-old boy into custody. They have not released any other details pertaining to the boy’s arrest.
