Police: School Bus Driver Causes Crash In Mpls

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — A bus driver crashed a school bus with a 9-year-old child on board into two cars Friday afternoon, Minneapolis police said.

The accident happened at the intersection of 5th Avenue and Park Avenue around 3:30 p.m. The bus driver was cited for inattentive driving, police said.

The driver of the first car the bus hit suffered minor injuries and is being treated at the Hennepin County Medical Center, police said.

The 9-year-old suffered no injuries.
