MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – When it comes to buying someone a tech gift, tablets are probably near the top of the list.

Just last week, Amazon introduced the Kindle Fire — the latest item in the tablet wars. It’s expected to give the iPad a run for its money.

But with so many to choose from and all in different price ranges, what do you pick?

There are distinct differences especially when you’re comparing tablets to eReaders.

There are color screens and black and white screens; gadgets that don’t have to be charged for a month and gadgets that need to be plugged in regularly.

Chris Stanford spoke with Best Buy about some of the more popular questions you should ask yourself before making a purchase. Check out the tips in the video above.
