19-Year-Old Killed In Stearns Co. Crash

ST. CLOUD, Minn. (WCCO) — A 19-year-old woman was killed in a single-car crash in Stearns County Wednesday afternoon.

According to the county sheriff’s office, the crash happened at about 4 p.m. on County Road 21 west of St. Nicolas.

Anngelica Macias was driving a Chevrolet Impala when it crossed the center line and went off the road, rolling several times and ending up in a soybean field.

Macias was ejected from the car.

The sheriff’s office said that she was pronounced dead at the scene. She was the only one in the car at the time of the crash.

Authorities did not say why they believe the car may have gone off the road.

R.I.P. my dear friend Anngelica Macias 10/5/2011. I wish our friendship would have been better, I will spend forever regretting not spending more time with you, though we ended up not being on good terms, know that I loved you like a sister, and you will always have a special place in my heart. I still can’t even grasp the fact that your gone, we spent so many amazing times together, it seems so unreal.

So very, very sad. I so hope there was no cell phone involved here. RIP sweetie.

When are people going to remember to buckle up. Crossing center line means not keeping your eyes on the road. Cell phone???? That can be checked. Hanover Dump Truck driver died last Sat. early A.M. in St. Paul. Ejected – no seat belt in use. My heart aches for the families of those that died.
