MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A 45-year-old nurse from New Richmond, Wis., pleaded guilty in Minneapolis Federal Court Friday to stealing narcotics from the hospital she worked at, according to court documents.

Della Rae Thalin pleaded guilty to one count of obtaining a controlled substance by fraud. She was charged Aug. 22.

In the plea agreement, she admitted that between Feb. 25 and March 19, she got the narcotic hydromorphone by accessing drug storage units and using her unique company information. She stole it for her personal use.

Thalin faces up to four years in prison for her crime. Her sentence will be determined by a U.S. District Court judge.
