MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — People are getting fired up for the release of one of the hottest, local holiday gifts — The Cities 97 Sampler.

The CD features some of the biggest names in music. The artists perform in Studio C and play unique, acoustic performances while in Minnesota.

This is the 23 Volume and Mumford and Sons is just one popular bands on the sampler.

Other artists include Adele, Sara Bareilles, Florence and the Machine, and Michael Franti and Spearhead.

The Sampler goes on sale Nov. 17.
