2 pounds Round Steak
1-2 cups Flour
1-bag small carrots
1-15 ounce can tomato sauce
Canola or Olive oil
2-3 Bay leaves
Trim fat from round steak and cut down to ¼ inch thickness if needed.
Flour both sides of round steak and then tenderize with at mallet. Add salt and pepper to taste. Brown steak in oil in frying pan and place in a 9×13 baking dish.
Heat can of tomato sauce on stove. Dice one onion and add to tomato sauce. Heat for 10 minutes.
Spread small carrots over top of meat. Pour tomato/onion mixture over carrots and meat.
Add one 15-ounce can of water.
Add 2-3 bay leaves.
Cover with aluminum foil. Bake 60-90 minutes at 350 or until meat is cooked.
