New Hampshire, St. Cloud State Tie 3-3 In Hockey
ST. CLOUD, Minn. (AP) -- The University of New Hampshire remains winless so far in the new hockey season after a 3-3 tie with St. Cloud State.
The teams failed to convert during a five-minute overtime session in the game Saturday night in Minnesota, with quality chances for both teams.
During the game, St. Cloud State was 0-4 on the power play, while UNH was 1-6 in its extra-skater chances. UNH outshot the Huskies 47-24.
The Wildcats are 0-4-1 on the season, while St. Cloud is 2-3-1.
UNH returns home for four straight games starting with a homecoming matchup with Union on Oct. 28.
