Effort To Recall Wis. Governor Kicks Off Tuesday

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — The effort to recall Wisconsin’s controversial Republican governor is expected to begin Tuesday, although his opponents have yet to come up with a candidate to replace him.

Democrats and union leaders are organizing the effort to oust Gov. Scott Walker after he pushed through a law that effectively ended collective bargaining for most public workers.

Democratic strategists would like to see a big name like former U.S. Sen. Russ Feingold or retiring U.S. Sen. Herb Kohl run against Walker, but they’ve said they aren’t interested. Other potential candidates are quietly jockeying for position and preparing for a primary to narrow the field if the party can’t agree on a nominee.

Recall organizers must collect more than 540,000 signatures by Jan. 17 to trigger an election, likely in spring or summer.

So, are you saying that you want the 47% of the population that pays NO federal income taxes to begin paying, and give up their ‘child tax credits’, TOO?
I remember one thing, once I made over $5,000 in a year, that I had to pay SOMETHING to the feds, AND the state.

It was and is the stalling and whinning of the GOP congress people! Not Obama,it’s the people who refurbished and have armed guards at this minute on 800 FEMA concentration camps! In the end we will see if it is the poor or the ultra rich who will be forced to live behind the wire!If you’re not a millionaie, you are a GOP target for “resettlement” or whatever cozy name they want to put on it! Some of those camps can house 20,000 people.Probably, the old, sick and unemployed poor people. If you are willing to work for slave wages they will let you out! That’s who and what you’re voting for! No lie! Put REX 84 on your search!
