MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Each week, WCCO This Morning is rewarding a hard-working, dedicated parent who loves what they do.
This week, Natalie Kane surprised this week’s winner, who was herself all but surrounded by friends.
Angela Archer-White is a multi-tasking mother who was nominated by her sister. Archer-White makes sure to keep her children busy as well.
“Angela balances her laptop on this hand and her Blackberry on this hand,” said her sister Mary. “And then you see her at a ball game with this and this and screaming for her kids to ‘Go, go, go!’”
Angela’s sister Mary said she admires her for being a woman wearing many hats.
“A wonderful sister, friend, wife, mother, you name it,” said Mary. “She deserves to be the Just 4 You Parent.”
It took a bit of work to pull a fast one on her sister, but Mary was able to set up the surprise at 3M, where Angela works. And the sizable turnout shows just how well-liked she is.
“She’s always stretching her hands to help others and do for others,” said Mary. “I just thought this was a great way to tell her how much we appreciate her.”
“It’s a wonderful gotcha. It’s just wonderful,” said Angela. “I couldn’t think of anything more than to be honored this way. It’s just amazing.”
Angela and her family were given tickets to see Disney on Ice.
Each week, WCCO selects a new Just 4 You Parent, so keep those entries coming. You can nominate a deserving parent, grandparent or guardian online.
