ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — Republican presidential contender Mitt Romney won’t be visiting Minnesota for a fundraiser next week after all.
Former rival Tim Pawlenty and others had planned a high-dollar event for Romney in Minneapolis on Monday. But a Pawlenty adviser says the event is being postponed due to a scheduling conflict.
Pawlenty endorsed Romney after dropping out of the race during the summer.
Pawlenty is a former Minnesota governor who serves as national co-chairman of Romney’s campaign and sometimes appears on Romney’s behalf.
