Minn. Woman Accused Of Burning Own Home In Jail
MOORHEAD, Minn. (AP) -- A rural Barnesville woman wanted in a series of fires at her western Minnesota home has turned herself in.
Clay County Sheriff Bill Bergquist says Tara Andvik surrendered Thursday at the jail.
KFGO-AM reports an arrest warrant was issued for Andvik last week. She faces first-degree arson charges and is expected to appear in court Friday.
The Forum of Fargo, N.D., reports one of the fires in October destroyed the home where Andvik lived with her husband and two children.
Andvik's attorney, Steve Mottinger of Fargo, declined comment Thursday.
