1 Kiled In Savage Apartment Fire

SAVAGE, Minn. (WCCO) — One person was killed in an apartment fire in Savage overnight.

Authorities said the fire started around 4 a.m. Monday along 126th Street West.

Though the fire didn’t cause much damage and was quickly put out, crews said one person died in the blaze.

The victim’s identity was not immediately released.

Crews are investigating what may have caused the fire.
