MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A 37-year-old man was arrested in Douglas County on Wednesday for possessing about 240 grams of methamphetamine, authorities said.

Chad Michael Larson was the focus of an investigation involving methamphetamine distribution in Douglas, Pope, Stevens and Stearns Counties. At the time of his arrest, Larson had about $48,000 worth of methamphetamine on him.

Larson was transported to the Douglas County Jail, where he is expected to be charged with first-degree distribution of a controlled substance. He was arrested by the West Central Minnesota Narcotics Task Force with assistance from the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.

Authorities said more arrests are also possible in the investigation.
