COON RAPIDS, Minn. (WCCO) — Police are investigating after a woman reported being kidnapped and raped near Highway 10 in Coon Rapids.

According to police, the woman called Coon Rapids Police around 10:25 p.m. Tuesday. She said about two hours before, she was parked in a parking lot when two men started small talk with her.

One of the men then ordered her into her car with a knife and forced her to drive through Coon Rapids for 30 minutes. The woman said he made her drive in a park area, with large homes nearby, and eventually forced her to park in a lot where the sexual assault allegedly occurred.

Police say it seems to be in the vicinity of the Anoka Ramsey Community College and the Mississippi River but not on campus.

The woman said the man tossed her phone out of the window during the drive and ran off on foot after the assault.

The woman drove about a mile before she was able to flag down a passing driver who called 911 for her.

She described her attacker as a white man, 25-30 years old that was clean shaven, 5-foot-10 to 6-feet-tall, wearing a blue hooded Adidas sweatshirt.

Cmdr. Paul Sommer of the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office said a case like this, where the attacker is a stranger, is extremely rare.

The woman told police the kidnapping by the Pawn America but she was unsure where she was raped and could only describe it as an unknown parking lot in a park-like area in Coon Rapids.

Police say they are examining several pieces of evidence, including if the men appear on surveillance tape in the pawn shop lot, and in addition have processed the woman’s car for evidence as well.

creepers…hope that parkin’ lot surveillance tape’ll put their faces on the web,eh?…seriously…crimes of this nature need much more punishment then just jail time…i won’t go there at this time

      I will….chop it off

      1. jackactionhero says:

If indeed this crime did happen, why would chopping “IT” off be the resolution? That doesn’t make sense, since this type of crime is not one that occurs due to overwhelming sexual desires. If you want to “chop” something off that caused the crime, why not start cutting at the neck and do the job right the first time?

        1. to chop or not to chop, that is the question says:

You have a compulsion to challenge everything and everybody, don’t you? If God offered you a brain, you would take issue with it on the false claim that you already have one.

You’re certainly not the most amiable floater in the punch bowl, are ya?

Ahhh, but we need to count the entertainment factor, don’t we? heh, heh

    1. Obv. says:

So she drove around for 30 minutes, how does she know it was a Coon Rapids park if she doesn’t know where it was?

      1. ISH says:

It does not say anything about coon rapids park in this article. If she went to a hospital right after, I am assuming she did, they would have done an examination of her and there would be no doubt. My replay keeps getting blocked because I was saying r*** kit. Unless you think she planted his dna on her private parts as well?

        1. Hm says:

Um when you give it up then cry foul there will be dna, also not sure where it stated she had a Ra&e test done

  3. @ISH dolt says:

It clearly states a park like area of Coon Rapids, how do you drive around for 3omins then know you’re still in C Rapids yet have no idea where.

    1. A stupid dude says:

yo you fricken moron – a freaking out female knowing something nasty about to happen likely is NOT taking notes…likely crying and terrified.
You so dumb you need to be told to change your diaper yet? thought so….

  4. I wonder says:

I mean white 5-10 to 6 feet clean shaven sums up 25% of C Rapids
