MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — I was listening to Christmas CDs Thursday and starting to get a little sad about our lack of snow. Just one inch would be great to cover things up and look like the visions I get when hearing my favorite holiday tunes — not this year.

This will be our first brown Christmas since 2006.

Expect temps to rise again Friday. There is a slight chance of flurries over the Arrowhead and parts of Wisconsin early in the day. For much of the state it is sunshine and highs back in the 30s.

At least the roads will be clear and dry for any holiday travel.

Highs will stay in the 30s and might even hit 40 on Monday.

I don’t see snow in the forecast until Wednesday at the earliest.

Have a wonderful Christmas!!
