Armed Robbery, Carjacking At Medtronic
MOUNDS VIEW (WCCO) -- An armed robber confronted a woman and stole her car at the Medtronic site in Mounds View early Friday afternoon, according to police.
Police say the robber, who possibly had a knife and a gun, also robbed the woman before taking her car. She was not injured.
A Medtronic representative said there was no lockdown at their site, but people were kept inside until they knew the armed individual was out of the area.
Later, the car was recovered in New Brighton.
No arrests have been made.
Mounds View Police are investigating and are reviewing surveillance video.
