ST. PAUL (WCCO) — Coldplay’s August 11 show at the Xcel Energy Center is all but sold out, but you needn’t worry if you didn’t get tickets.

The Grammy-winning Britpop band has added a second show at the St. Paul venue.

They will be performing on Friday, August 10, in addition to the originally-planned Saturday show.

Tickets will go on sale on Saturday, Feb. 10 at the Xcel Energy Center box office, as well as on Ticketmaster’s website.

Coldplay has sold more than 50 million records worldwide and have won numerous awards. The band — made up of Guy Berryman, Jonny Buckland, Will Champion and Chris Martin — is touring in support of its new album, “Mylo Xyloto.”
