MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A Canadian Pacific train derailed near Red Wing, Minn., Sunday morning, causing 19 rail cars to come off the tracks and two to tip over, a spokesperson for the company said.

The derailment happened around 10 a.m. and injured no one.

Canadian Pacific says there is no risk to the general public and that crews are cleaning-up the scene.

The cause of the derailment is not known, but the company is investigating the incident.

The rail cars that went off that tracks were all empty, the spokesperson said.
