Weather Blog: More Of The Same

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- It has been a mild and dry February, and I don't see any big changes in the near future.

We will see more sunshine (finally) on Thursday with highs approaching 40 degrees in the Twin Cities. Towns in Southwestern Minnesota will punch into the 40s for highs.

We do cool down on Friday and Saturday, but our highs will still be above average.

We look to stay dry until Monday when a storm system approaches. It will gather some Gulf moisture and bring the potential for accumulating snow. Maybe even enough to shovel.

Some models show it warm enough to start as rain, while others keep the entire system south of us.

I will keep you posted!
