Wild Recall Forwards Almond, Taffe From AHLCclub

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — The Minnesota Wild have made yet another roster shuffle.

They recalled two forwards from their AHL affiliate Wednesday, Cody Almond and Jeff Taffe. Taffe is third on the Houston Aeros with 32 points. The Hastings native and former Gophers standout has played in three games with the Wild this season. Almond has appeared in eight games previously.

To make room, forward Kris Foucault was reassigned to the Aeros after playing in just one game for the Wild. Another forward, Carson McMillan, was placed on injured reserve with an unspecified lower-body injury. The Wild host the Winnipeg Jets Thursday. They’ve lost five straight games, the last four in regulation.

Coach Mike Yeo said forward Cal Clutterbuck is questionable to play the Jets with an unspecified lower-body injury.
