MINNEAPOLIS (WCC0) – Single-game Twins tickets went on sale Saturday and fans already snagged the seats for seven sold-out games, including the home opener.
According to the Twins’ Twitter account, the seven sold-out games are the home opener and both series against the Chicago Cubs and Milwaukee Brewers.
Many fans also bought up tickets to games against the New York Yankees, the Los Angeles Angels, the Texas Rangers, the Detroit Tigers, and the Boston Red Sox.
The games on Memorial Day weekend were also popular with fans, the Twins said.
As of yet, there is no word on whether or not the Twins’ website experienced the glitches that upset many fans last year.
