It’s OK for LRT to pass under the bridge but not cars?

Agreed. Traffic was flowing smoothly when the trains were stopped and the semaphores were on flash. Once the trains started up again and Hiawatha wasn’t open to cars, some ninny turned the semaphores back on and the traffic jams were pure hell. I was in a long line of cars that finally had had enough and just started going through the red light. Traffic was finally moving again as a result.

And no, it did NOT result in any accidents.

Stu pid trains. Stu pid light rail. Stu pid PRETTY bridge that just wasted the taxpayers a butt load of money.

That bridge was only for looking at cause it’s real purty.

It wasn’t meant to be used.

Funny how they say emergency vehicles can drive on that bridge but where is that posted along with the weight limit???????? Something is not adding up here!!!!
