FARGO, N.D. (WCCO/AP) — Authorities say they located the husband of a North Dakota woman found dead in her apartment by tracking his credit cards.

Police said they arrested 49-year-old Henry Leo Deniger in St. Cloud, Minn., in connection with the apparent stabbing death of his 52-year-old wife, Kathye Deniger.

The arrest was made on Wednesday. He was booked into Stearns County Jail.

The Fargo Forum reported Kathye Deniger had not been seen for several days when her body was found Tuesday by officers called her to Fargo apartment to do a welfare check.

An autopsy was scheduled Thursday. The Forum reported that preliminary results were expected within two days.
