FARGO, N.D. (AP) — Ownership of the Cass-Clay milk processing operation in Fargo has changed hands.
Twin Cities-based Kemps LLC has bought the operation from New Ulm, Minn.-based Associated Milk Producers Inc. Terms haven’t been disclosed.
Kemps spokeswoman Rachel Kyllo says the Cass-Clay brand will continue and no changes are planned for the Fargo creamery operation that makes milk, ice cream, yogurt, sour cream and other products.
The AMPI cooperative owned by 3,000 dairy farmers will remain the exclusive milk supplier for Cass-Clay products.
