NORWOOD-YOUNG AMERICA, Minn. (WCCO) – The State Patrol says a pedestrian was killed while standing in the right lane of a road in Carver County Thursday morning.
The pedestrian was struck by a vehicle near County Road 33 and Highway 212 in Norwood Young America, Minn. at about 7 a.m.
The State Patrol reported the pedestrian was struck by a semi truck being driven by a 55-year-old man.
The victim was, according to the patrol, 17-year-old Andrew Mulville of Norwood Young America.
The patrol said Mulville wrapped himself in a blanket before standing in the right lane of the road.
