MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – If you live in Brown County and get call from the sheriff’s office asking for donations, don’t give the caller any money or personal information: the call is a scam, according to police.
The Brown County Sheriff’s Office says the scam caller is phoning area business and asking for money.
Authorities say if someone is asking you for money or your personal information, it’s probably a scam.
Probably is a cop. There are no bigger criminals than them.
