MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Although the Orioles stomped the Twins over the weekend, fans brought enthusiasm and positive vibes to the Twins’s Target Field home opener.

“They lost to the worst team in the American league – just got swept – and yet here I am to cheer them on,” said Twins fan Danny Shephard.

Another fan, Lance Groettum, said he’s just trying to stay optimistic.

“That’s all I can say,” he said.

His brother, Dale, said, “If they lose 100 games, I’ll still watch them.”
