MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- You wouldn't have known last season happened by all the fun and excitement around Target Field Monday. The sun was shining, the beer was golden and the flags were waving.

It wasn't until sitting in the Target Field seats that a cold chill could be felt running throughout Twins Territory.

Even with the sun shining directly on the seats one could still hear the chilly attitudes. A woman asked, "Why is there no play-by-play in the park? I can't see the ball." Another fan behind asked, "What position does Joe Mauer play?" Their companion replied, "Third base." Another gentleman behind did not understand why it would be beneficial to have a runner on 2nd base as opposed to 1st base.

Their confusion eventually turned into unrest after six or seven innings. Some distraught fans resorted to discussing their previous night's indigestion, debating whether or not the Cubs and White Sox share the same park or planning the cheap tickets they may be able to get this season.

Here's hoping that the Twins start winning soon. Some fans could use a refresher course in good baseball. In the meantime, they can watch the video below. It has a big plane in it.
