Let’s start off with the good news: there isn’t a threat of severe weather this week.
Nobody will wake up to 11 inches of wet, heavy snow in the morning. And Monday will be remembered as our coldest day this week.
Now Tuesday morning is going to start out below freezing in many areas. Expect your yard to have a frosty look in the morning. But by afternoon, our temperatures should pop above average. You can expect a high in the Twin Cities around 60 degrees.
Our next Pacific system arrives late Tuesday spilling into Wednesday morning. There could be a few isolated thunderstorms, but don’t expect severe weather. We’ll take any extra rain we can get.
