MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The storms that dropped hail and seemed to create cold-weather funnels Saturday damaged two farms near Fergus Falls, authorities said.
The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office says it received word of the damage just before 1:30 p.m.
No injuries have been reported.
The first farm, located on the 14000 block of 195th Avenue, sustained damage to a grain bin and a pole shed, which held boats. The pole shed sustained heavy damage, police said.
The second farm, located on the 14000 of 215th Avenue (some three miles east of the first farm) sustained damage to trees and power lines.
Police said “tornado type activity” damaged the farms.
