MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Authorities found two people dead inside a house that caught fire Monday morning in Crow Wing County.

Sheriff Todd Dahl says authorities were called to the house, located on the 10500 block of Tranquil Road in Lake Edwards Township, shortly after 10:30 a.m. Someone had called 911, reporting a fire. However, it is not clear if the house was still burning when crews arrived.

Dahl said that while investigating the fire, authorities found two bodies, which have yet to be identified. Autopsies will be performed on the bodies to determine what killed them.

The fire is under investigation, and no cause has been given for the fire.
