MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A woman fended off a would-be attacker at the doorstep of her Minneapolis home, police say.
According to authorities, it happened around 1 a.m. on April 21 on the 3500 block of Aldrich Ave. N in Minneapolis. A man approached the woman asking for directions.
He then asked to use her phone, but she said no and she attempted to enter into her home.
That’s when police said he put his hands over her mouth and around her waist. She responded with a punch that allowed her to get away.
