MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Authorities arrested a 29-year-old man from Becker, Minn., Thursday for allegedly possessing and distributing child pornography.
Sherburne County Sheriff Joel Brott said police arrested Gregory Shartle after an investigation.
Brott said Sherburne County police received information from the FBI about a suspect distributing child porn. Once investigators obtained a search warrant, they found numerous computers and an Internet server system owned by Shartle in a house located on the 12000 block of Carole Drive.
Police arrested Shartle without incident, Brott said. Shartle is currently booked in the Sherburne County Jail, pending formal charges.
Brott said the Becker Police Department and the FBI assisted with the investigation.
