MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A 3-year-old boy is recovering Friday night after he fell three stories from a window in northeast Minneapolis, police said.

Sgt. Steven McCarty said the boy tumbled out the window and through a screen around 6:30 p.m. He was jumping on a bed in an apartment complex on the 2100 block of Washington Street Northeast before the fall.

Paramedics found the boy crying and brought him to the hospital.

Police said his injuries did not appear serious.

No word was given as to where the boy’s parents were.
