MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Police are investigating after two University of Minnesota students were allegedly robbed at gunpoint off-campus early Sunday morning.

According to police, the incident happened near 25th Avenue Southeast and Delaware Avenue Southeast at about 12:45 a.m. Sunday.

Two students were approached by two men in their 20s, police said. The students were threatened with a handgun before giving the two robbers their wallets and cell phones, according to officers.

Neither of the two victims were injured in the robbery.

Police described the suspects being 5 feet, 9 or 10 inches tall. Both were wearing black jackets with hoods, and one was wearing glasses.
