Authorities Investigating Garage Fire In Corcoran
CORCORAN, Minn. (WCCO) – Authorities are investigating if weather might have played a factor in an early morning fire west of the Twin Cities.
Fire crews responded to the 23000 block of Pioneer Trail in Corcoran just after 6 a.m. Wednesday. When authorities arrived, they discovered a fire that appeared to have started in the garage because of a lightning strike.
Fire officials said the house was not struck and there doesn't appear to be significant damage there, but two antique cars in the garage are a total loss.
Crews from Hanover, Corcoran, Maple Plain and Hamel all responded to the scene.
The fire is still under investigation at this time.
