ASHBY, Minn. (WCCO) – The stars and stripes waved proudly in the sunshine on Monday. But there’s one small town in Minnesota known for one big Memorial Day ceremony.
It’s in Ashby, a town between Alexandria and Fergus Falls in the northwestern corner of the state.
Hundreds turn out annually each Memorial Day to honor and remember the sacrifices made by our armed servicemen and women.
