MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Minneapolis Police arrested three protesters on Tuesday for occupying a foreclosed home.
The protesters, part of the “Occupy Minnesota” movement, were arrested at a house on the 4000 block of Cedar Avenue South in Minneapolis. Protesters said the homeowner was evicted last week, even though they are trying to renegotiate a loan with the bank that currently owns the home.
Following the arrests, a group of protesters marched down Hiawatha Avenue, and they blocked traffic for a brief period of time.
