MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — We are locked in cool, northwest flow. These temps are average for around April 20 — not late-May.

We will stay on the cool side of average for the next few days with the best chance of rain remaining south of the Twin Cities.

This will go down as the second wettest May on record. We are currently 0.99” shy of matching the rain total of 1906.

There are still flooding concerns on rivers and streams that are trying to pass the excessive rain over the past week.

Looking ahead to the weekend, I see temps back near average (mid-70s) with the best shot of rain coming late Sunday night.

Hard to believe it is almost June.
