ST. PAUL, Minn. (WCCO) — Dog owners in the Twin Cities now have a new place to let their animals run around without leashes.

The new High Bridge Dog Park in St. Paul will officially open on Thursday. It’s a seven acre park and is located beneath the Smith Avenue High Bridge between Shepard Road and the Mississippi River.

Mayor Chris Coleman and others will be there to cut the ribbon at 5:30 p.m. This is St. Paul’s second off-leash dog park.
