MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — A grill may the culprit for an apartment fire early Saturday morning in Brooklyn Center.

Firefighters are investigating the blaze that took place at Melrose Gates Apartments along the 6300 block of Camden Avenue.

The Red Cross is helping out, too, saying the 35 people in the 10 apartments got out safe.

And the apartment owner said they will put the tenants up at a local hotel until it’s safe to get back into the complex.
